How can I choose to be Delightful?
As discussed there are 3 main problems that are causing the majority of adverse health conditions in millions of people: poor diets, lack of exercise and insufficient Vitamin D levels. The health problems caused by these 3 issues are absolutely solvable, not treatable, solvable and all we have to do is choose to be more healthy. Choose to eat better, choose to start exercising and choose to maintain adequate Vitamin D levels. Being healthy is a choice!
1 – Maintain sufficient Vitamin D levels
- Ask your doctor to check your Vitamin D level or test yourself using a Vitamin D testing kit. Most likely your Vitamin D will be low.
- 10-15 minutes of sufficient direct sun exposure on bare skin 2-3 times per week
- Eat foods naturally containing Vitamin D like salmon, mackerel, tuna, mushrooms etc.
- Eat foods fortified with Vitamin D
- Use Vitamin D supplements both oral and topical
- Track Vitamin D exposure and intake to maintain appropriate Vitamin D levels
2 – Diet
- Maintain a healthy diet at home where you can choose everything that goes on your shelves or in your refrigerator
- Limit bad or empty carbs: junk food, soda, diet soda, candy etc.
- Choose whole grains, fresh foods, fruits, vegetables, lean meats
- Limit portion sizes…All things in moderation!
3 – Exercise Do SOMETHING every day.
